Monday

WOW What an awesome day! We started with a cloudy day that ended in sunshine. We worked VERY hard all day.

When we arrived at Holy Hill this AM we were greeted by 2 guys that had been here back in 2005. They had been out inproving thier story and finding the better way is to be sober and drug free. Some times it takes what ti takes. It was sooo good to see them. Then tonight we were able to hear the things they are doing with the schools here and going and giving talkes at the schools for children ages 15 to 18 about drugs and alchol and what happens when you use them. They reach about 3000 children a year. This gives a chance to teach them so they do not have to end up in Holy Hill. I am really proud to be apart of this team.

Tonight we were able to have dinner with two of the guys from last year that are in the re entry house. They are both working and getting back into the real world. Paying bills etc….. I pray any of you reading this will some day get to experiance what we do here.

God Bless! Joyce

In CZ

Sunday night (Monday morning) 0111

AHOJ,

Team completed planning for tomorrow, hi’s and lo’s, and went off to rooms to bed.

Wonderful day with church service, new member from Teen Challenge program was accepted into Maranatha UMC, and after-service homemade snacks. Canadian team was at Maranatha today, preparing to leave CZ and return to Ontario. Tomorrow we will be off to Holy Hill for working at the rehab residence center. Much to do this week and we are looking forward to it.

Caleb has graduated from High School, and met up with other people coming to CZ. His plane has left Chicago, and so he is winging his way to London. He will join me as the other male on this team - and this team is a wonderful team of God’s children, ready to work on HIS behalf

It is very hot here, with rain showers - approximately 28C, or 85-90 F…I think the Czech people think we brought Texas weather with us!  Very unusual, as last year we were chilly.

Such a blessing to see the success of Teen Challenge program and staff, in saving lives. So glad we were able to come and help.

More later -

AHOJ,

Charles
